POSITION:
We are searching for a talented individual to take ownership of our IT security posture and manage our cloud infrastructure and DevOps within Microsoft Azure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our systems and data while maintaining the stability and scalability of our cloud environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Security
• Develop and implement security measures to protect our organization's computer systems and networks.
• Maintain, and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and best practices.
Cloud Operations (Azure)
• Manage and maintain Azure cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networks.
• Implement and manage Azure Active Directory and related identity and access management solutions.
• Develop and implement cloud-based solutions to meet business needs, including automation, orchestration, and monitoring.
• Manage cloud costs and optimize resource utilization.
Collaboration & Communication
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security and compliance requirements are met.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation.
DevOps
• Develop, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Manage and provision cloud infrastructure (Azure) using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Implement and maintain monitoring/logging tools (Application Insights).
• Ensure system security by applying best practices for IAM, network policies, and compliance requirements.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Work closely with developers to diagnose and fix build, deployment, and production issues.
• Configure and manage containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Conduct root cause analysis and postmortems for incidents.
• Perform performance tuning, scalability testing, and optimization of infrastructure.
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience in an IT security role with a strong understanding of security best practices.
• Hands-on experience managing and securing Azure cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security.
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for automation.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and services.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and container technologies.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience in version control systems, especially Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
