The Senior Software/Applications Developer supports the integration and development of ServiceNow for IT Service Management, ensuring alignment with design specifications using best practices. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams for the implementation and maintenance of ServiceNow modules, developing execution and deployment plans, and integrating outputs into an Enterprise ITSM interface. The position requires creating new data tables and complex workflows, performing system administration, resolving defects, and providing user support. The developer will also analyze requirements, design solutions, develop, test, and deploy software applications, ensure code quality through reviews, and coordinate testing. Additionally, manages and enhances SQL databases, creates data services, and handles application migration and deployment processes are key tasks.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level. 

Must possess certification at the IAT III level, such as one of the following: CASP+CE, CCNP SECURITY, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides support for Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) integration with ServiceNow development and implementation to meet the design specifications using best practice and out of the box functionality.

Assists the ServiceNow team, service management personnel, enterprise architect, and Code 104 with implementing and sustaining ServiceNow modules.

Develops plans for execution of the design and the deployment of ServiceNow, integrating the output into an Enterprise ITSM customer user interface (in ServiceNow).

Supports the development and integration of ServiceNow modules using industry best practices.

Develops new data tables and complex workflows within ServiceNow to support ongoing work.

Performs basic system administration duties, support system defects as they arrive, and provide applications support to end users of ServiceNow.

Address configuration changes to the ServiceNow platform.

Analyzes user requirements and design digital tool and application solutions to meet specified needs.

Develops, tests, and deploys high-quality software applications using relevant programming languages and frameworks.

Conducts code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability

Maintains technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.

Coordinates testing activities using the ServiceNow Test Administration Suite.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of experience in designing and implement ITSM solutions.

The estimated pay range for this role is $100K to $150K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
