Skills & Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 5 years focused on IAM and 3 years leading large engagement or IAM operations.
Strong understanding of IAM protocols: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SCIM.
Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD environments and cloud IAM models (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- IAM Service Delivery & Operations
Lead end-to-end IAM managed services operations including provisioning, access reviews, governance, and lifecycle management.
Ensure SLA adherence, service continuity, and performance metrics across IAM platforms.
Manage change and incident management processes related to IAM.
Drive automation and optimization within IAM operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
IAM Service Delivery & Operations
Lead end-to-end IAM managed services operations including provisioning, access reviews, governance, and lifecycle management.
Ensure SLA adherence, service continuity, and performance metrics across IAM platforms.
Manage change and incident management processes related to IAM.
Drive automation and optimization within IAM operations.
- Technical Expertise
Hands-on experience with major IAM platforms like SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, ForgeRock, Azure AD, or Ping Identity.
Provide subject matter expertise on Identity Governance (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Lead root cause analysis and provide recommendations for complex IAM issues.
Collaborate with engineering teams for enhancements, patching, upgrades, and platform scaling.
- Cybersecurity Alignment
Integrate IAM with broader security programs including Zero Trust, SOC, SIEM, and Endpoint Security.
Understand and align IAM controls with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
Ensure compliance with data privacy, regulatory, and audit requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
- Leadership & Client Engagement
Lead and mentor a team of IAM analysts and engineers across multiple geographies.
Serve as a primary point of contact for IAM service delivery and performance reviews.
Engage with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into IAM service improvements.
Participate in pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal development for IAM managed services.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Industry certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, Azure Security, or vendor-specific IAM certifications (e.g., SailPoint Certified Implementation Engineer).
