Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and oversee all internal and external investigations, ensuring consistency, integrity, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts involving Legal, HR, Compliance, and Security.
Develop and implement investigation frameworks, protocols, and reporting mechanisms.
Act as a key advisor on incident trends, root cause findings, and risk mitigation strategies.
Manage a team of investigators and ensure proper training, tools, and methodologies are in place.
Prepare high-quality investigative reports and present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Support regulatory inquiries and litigation through accurate and defensible evidence handling.
Drive continuous improvement in investigative processes and ethical standards across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Law, Criminology, Forensics, or related field preferred.
10+ years of experience in investigations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven experience handling complex cases involving fraud, data breaches, employee misconduct, or regulatory violations.
Strong understanding of investigative procedures, evidence management, and interview techniques.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.
Preferred Certifications:
CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)
CFCE, CHFI, or equivalent digital forensics credentials
Security, legal, or HR investigation-related certifications
GCFA, CFE, CHFI, EnCE, or CISSP.
Background in law enforcement, internal investigations, or legal tech is a plus.
Understanding of cloud forensics (AWS, Azure, GCP).
