We are seeking a strategic and customer-focused Cybersecurity Presales Director to lead a cross-regional cybersecurity presales overlay team supporting the Maritime, Energy, and Critical Infrastructure sectors. This role is fully customer-facing and is responsible for driving technical engagement, solution alignment, and presales excellence across global opportunities.
The scope of this role excludes internal IT or infrastructure responsibilities. Instead, it focuses on enabling sales success, ensuring technical fit, and delivering high-value, secure solutions to our clients.
Job Description
Customer-Facing Leadership
•Lead a global cybersecurity presales overlay team serving clients across key industry verticals.
•Coordinate closely with presales professionals embedded within regional Business Units.
•Support technical sales efforts across geographies, acting as a senior technical advisor during strategic pursuits.
Presales Process & Workload Management
•Design and maintain a structured presales qualification process.
•Manage resource allocation and workload distribution across the global team.
•Track and report on presales activity, opportunity health, and contribution to pipeline success.
Scalability & Best Practices
•Define and roll out best practices, toolkits, and playbooks to enable repeatable, high-quality solutioning.
•Develop reusable presales assets (reference architectures, demo environments, proposal templates).
•Foster knowledge sharing between overlay and embedded presales teams.
Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expertise
•Serve as a senior technical authority in cybersecurity, with expertise in:
•MDR/XDR, SOC and SIEM/SOAR architectures
•OT/ICS Security (IEC 62443, NIS2, IMO/ISPS)
•Risk-driven solution design and compliance alignment
•Represent the company in client workshops, executive briefings, and technical design reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
•Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Delivery to ensure technical feasibility and operational readiness.
•Translate customer needs into service-aligned solutions, supporting continuous improvement of offerings.
•Align with Product Management to guide roadmap based on customer feedback and market trends.
Qualifications
•10+ years in cybersecurity presales, technical consulting, or solution architecture.
•Experience leading regional or global presales teams.
•Strong knowledge of cybersecurity in operational environments (Maritime, Energy, Critical Infrastructure).
•Track record in client-facing roles and complex solution sales support.
•Fluent in English; other European languages (French, German, Dutch, Croatian) are a plus.
•Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of time.
Preferred Certifications:
•CISSP, GICSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent vendor certifications (Fortinet, Microsoft, Palo Alto).
•Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, IEC 62443, NIS2, etc.).
