Step into a mission-critical role in our 24/7 Security Operations Center—an elite, purpose-built team protecting the electric grid for Associated Electric Cooperative and our member co-ops. This isn't your average SOC job, you'll be in the thick of it—hunting threats, engineering detections, and automating security at scale.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and tune detections in Microsoft Sentinel and other tools
• Lead or assist in incident response and digital forensics
• Create and maintain automations with Logic Apps and Automation Accounts
• Support cooperative onboarding, telemetry ingestion, and rule fidelity
• Collaborate across teams to advance our TechOps vision integrating cyber, physical, and NOC operations
• Mentor others and contribute to a strong, service-focused team culture

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid experience with Azure, Sentinel, and related security tools
• Background in incident response, forensics, and security automation
• Strong communication skills and empathy when working with small IT teams
• A collaborative mindset and passion for protecting critical infrastructure

Location: Springfield, Missouri

Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours (no shift work)
