This Staff Cybersecurity will lead and mentor Network Security Data Protection teams, driving the adoption of best practices and innovation solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, while leading the design, implementation, and management of cybersecurity and network security solutions.

Responsibilities

Leads, mentors, and coaches teams, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous professional growth, and knowledge sharing within the cyber & network security community
Leads adoption of best practices, new technologies, and innovative solutions within the team, fostering continuous improvement and a culture of excellence
Designs and maintains comprehensive security architecture capabilities, ensuring scalability and resilience against evolving threats
Oversees the integration of advanced security technologies and methodologies into enterprise-wide systems, driving continuous improvement in security posture
Supervises and enhances enterprise governance models for cybersecurity architecture, ensuring robust risk management and compliance with global regulatory requirements
Manages and orchestrates responses to highly complex security incidents and breaches, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to mitigate impact and prevent recurrence
Anticipates and evaluates the impacts of emerging technology trends and geopolitical developments on the organization's security architecture, recommending and implementing strategic improvements
Leads cross-functional engineering teams to align implementations with technical specifications and blueprints, facilitating efficient project execution
Leads development of proof of concepts to evaluate the latest trending software/tools in the industry to recommend the right tool for unique business scenarios
Implements and manages complex secure network solutions, including advanced firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, or other security systems to protect the organization's data
Leads comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in the organization's systems and applications and develops strategic remediation plans
Leads implementation and management of encryption technologies or other security systems to protect sensitive data in transit and at rest, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of the organization's datatoo specific
Leads in-depth research on emerging security threats and technologies and provides strategic recommendations to enhance the organization's security posture
Oversees the development of detailed technical documentation and reports on security assessments and findings and creates remediation efforts to provide inputs to senior management and stakeholders
Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives
Develops and leads technical strategy for the discipline over which they are responsible in coordination with their peer group

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cybersecurity and / or information security
Experience in network security, understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation
Experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools such as Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar, or Elastic
Experience with IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems)
Experience with incident response tools such as Wireshark or Sysinternals and forensic investigation tools and techniques
Experience with security tools such as firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), intrusion detection systems (e.g., Snort, Suricata), and antivirus software (e.g., Symantec, McAfee)
Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation Development
Hands-on experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, SentinelOne, Defender) for monitoring and securing endpoints
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7) and remediation processes
Experience in leading incident response efforts, including forensic analysis, malware analysis, and threat hunting
Experience with working on threat intelligence platforms (e.g., ThreatConnect, Recorded Future) and their integration into security operations
Experience with securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and implementing cloud security best practices
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST) and their application in cybersecurity operations

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and/or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred
Knowledge of cybersecurity technology portfolios, security principles, and frameworks
Knowledge of Network Security and Application Security
Knowledge of Threat Modeling
Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Knowledge of Data Privacy & Protection (DPP, GDPR)
Knowledge of Cloud Security Management
Knowledge of global regulatory requirements and industry standards for cybersecurity
Knowledge of Data Security Management
Knowledge of Application Development & Security
Knowledge of Data Engineering
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating security tasks
Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and security fundamentals

Minimum Qualifications

Annual Range: $170,000.00 to $255,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
