We currently have a vacancy for a Security infrastructure architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

  • Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, evaluation studies, architectural considerations (with emphasis on secure design), applicable standards (including those related to cybersecurity and data protection), solution patterns, and best practices in a specific area of ICT technology (e.g. database management systems, business process, business activity monitoring, and business intelligence technologies);
  • Identifying interfaces between the concerned systems and other underlying strategic information systems;
  • Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis related to reporting and dashboard design;
  • Coordinating the delivery (build, integration, promotion) of new systems and extensions of existing systems' features with the infrastructure team, ensuring that secure coding, application hardening, and secure deployment practices are applied;
  • Performing user presentations and trainings, including awareness on secure use of reporting tools and data confidentiality;
  • Participating in project meetings and communicating progress in a PM² structured methodology, including updates on security implications and mitigations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of minimum 17 years;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in management and design of SAP BusinessObjects (v3.x, v4.x) universes and reports, including the application of access controls and secure data modelling;
  • Experience in SQL and PL/SQL languages, with attention to secure coding practices and data access control;
  • Experience in designing complex KPI Dashboards for management reporting, including role-based access and data masking considerations;
  • Working knowledge of software integration, packaging, and promotion tools (e.g. Atlassian), with emphasis on their secure configuration and usage;
  • Good knowledge of PM² or similar project management methodology;
  • Very good knowledge and experience of system prototyping and design (functional, performance, and security aspects (e.g., access control, data encryption, secure data flows));
  • Strong analytics skills and ability to translate business processes into secure and compliant BI dashboards and reports;
  • Analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into secure and operational solutions;
  • Ability to deliver concise user presentations and trainings, including secure data handling practices;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and PowerBuilder is a plus;
  • Knowledge of SAS Business Intelligence solutions is a plus;
  • Knowledge of ITIL is a plus;
  • Excellent command of the English language, while French (B2) will be an advantage.
