The Opportunity: 

 

As a Cyber Operations Planner supporting the Special Operations Command-Central (SOCCENT) Irregular Warfare Directorate, you will play a critical role in the analysis, concept development, operational planning, and integration of unique cyber capabilities for Special Operations Forces (SOF).   

Responsibilities: 

 

As a CACI Cyber Operations Planner supporting the SOCCENT Irregular Warfare Directorate, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Conducting detailed, written analysis and develop/refine recommendations in support of the Joint Cyberspace Operations deliberate and crisis planning efforts. 

  • Conducting research, cyber threat intelligence analysis, assist in development of CYBER plans, Staff Estimates, White Papers, briefing support target and CONOP development efforts, provide cyber updates to Common Intelligence Picture  and monitor cyber Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) for the probabilities associated with Computer Network Attacks (CNA), Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) and Electronic Attack (EA) and facilitate for the direct comparison of cyber-attacks to kinetic attacks in mission planning. 

  • Participating in and provide support to JPGs, OPTs, and all other planning meetings by developing agendas, multimedia presentations, facilitating and contributing to discussions. 

  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with other combatant command JCCs, TSOCs, USCYBERCOM, IA, and non-government organizations involved in cyber planning, synchronization, integration, requirements identification and vetting, and other related mission summaries of subject relationships and interactions. 

  • Utilizing knowledge of joint doctrine and joint planning concepts, to include the JOPP. Apply operations art and operational design in the application of JOPP and joint military operations, including command and control (C2) processes and the military decision-making process. 

  • Drafting CONOPs, concept plans, operations orders, operations plans, fragmentary orders, execution orders, exercise directives, joint planning products, standard operating procedures, implementation plans, requirements definition and analysis, cyberspace operations TTPs, assessments, and other exercise or planning related products as requested. 

  • Monitoring and reviewing strategies, doctrine, polices, directives, and instruction from higher echelon headquarters and make recommendations to the Government to ensure compliance and/or consideration in planning efforts. 

  • Providing Cyber knowledge management (KM) support for strategic improvement initiatives through the development and execution of KM, change management, and organizational learning tools, techniques, and expertise. 

  • Collaborating with senior government officials and executives to provide industry insights and shape innovative project direction 

 

Qualifications: 

Required: 

  • Five (5) years’ experience in technical or computer network operations development and planning and two (2) years’ related military or civilian experience. 

  • Two (2) years’ experience at a combatant command, Joint Staff, or other comparable experience conducting and leading OCO planning and writing OCO plans and orders. 

  • Graduate of or must complete with six (6) months of hiring, a minimum of one of the following courses: Joint Attack Course, Joint Cyber Analysis Course graduate, Joint Cyberspace Operations Planning Course, Joint Information Operations Planning Course or service equivalents. USG may authorize COR may authorize opportunity to attend a 40-80 hour training event if other qualifications are met. 

  • Current Top Secret Security clearance and SCI eligibility 

  • Current CI Poly or ability to obtain a CI Poly required 

 

Desired: 

  • Demonstrated experience directly supporting Special Operations Forces and/or Intelligence Community.   

 

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
