As a systems engineer on our team, youâll have the chance to design cryptographic systems in support of Navy missions. You Have:Â
- 4+ years of experience with the design and development of cryptographic devices and products and key management systems
- 4+ years of experience with information assurance and systems engineering, including system assessment, design definition, system specifications, integration and interoperability, T&E, and logistics, in support of C4ISR requirements
- Experience with Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and analysis of new and emerging technologies
- Knowledge of cryptographic systems such as COMSEC or TRANSEC functions, key management architectures, and DoD processes, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) security evaluations and DoD acquisition framework
- Ability to advise on interoperability and technical solutions
- Ability to interact directly with clients and stakeholders and operate on a collaborative, cross-functional team to identify problems, analyze data, generate solutions, and communicate results through written and verbal presentation
- Ability to develop program-level documentation, including briefings, whitepapers, and transition plans, as well as coordinate and facilitate technical exchanges and conduct high-level operational planning
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8140 IAT II Certification within 90 days of hire date
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with emergent technologies
- Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
- Knowledge of Software-Defined Radios or Tactical Data Link products
- Ability to think critically and analytically, problem-solve, and work independently
- TS/SCI clearance
- Masterâs degree in Engineering
- DoD 8140 IAT II Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.
