As a network engineer on our team, youâll use your skill and experience in developing technologies and systems involving traditional data networks, access technologies, wireless systems, the media to carry such services, the protocols required for the completion of transport and services, operation of networks, management of network resources, and traffic performance modeling of such networks to support the nationâs defense and respond to evolving adversaries. Youâll analyze current working infrastructures and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. Â
Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, youâll make an impact on national security missions. Â

You Have:Â
10+ years of experience engineering advanced routing and switching solutions using various DoD and commercial networking technologies and systems
Experience gathering needed data to specify system or component performance and interface requirements
Experience performing data captures to obtain network performance information
Experience analyzing modeling questions to determine technical modeling approaches
Experience performing high-level design of the models, including system and component performances and interface requirement
Experience in DoD European Theater of Operations
Experience ordering and provisioning long haul network circuits
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Network Engineering or Administration Certification such as CCNA, CCIE, or CISSP Certification
Nice If You Have:Â
Experience managing network resources and provisioning the resources
Experience defining specific procedures to be used to solve technical problems
Experience designing a Mission Partner Environment
Clearance:Â

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.
