Responsibilities Include:
- Provide security support to the Directorate’s controlled facilities to include:
- Exercising delegated access control to secure areas.
- Assisting in opening and closing controlled areas.
- Assisting in arming and disarming facility alarm systems as required.
- Assisting in accomplishing end-of-duty day security checks.
- In support of those programs with stringent security requirements, personnel shall be knowledgeable of DoD security procedures, to include classified transmission, protection of incoming mail, courier requirements, security incident reporting, and security violation sanctions.
- Escorting personnel, visitors, and other parties as needed to complete work duties, subject to local security office or organizational policies.
- Experience with Security Classification Guide development and implementation is strongly desired.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Technical Experience Required:
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Functionally Aligned Minimum Recommended Education/Experience Requirements: BA/BS, 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 3 years must be in the DoD, or 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD.
