We are growing rapidly and are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer, Services to join our Boston, NYC or Denver Office. This role reports to the Head of Software Development.

In this role you will:
- Develop, and optimize backend services and APIs using .NET (C#) on Microsoft Azure.
- Design and implement database solutions using Azure SQL and other Azure database offerings.
- Build, orchestrate, and monitor ETL/data pipelines with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Ensure data integrity, security, and high performance across backend systems.
- Collaborate with Product, front-end, DevOps, and data engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Azure DevOps.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize cloud-based backend and data solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure 100% code coverage.
- Continuously automate and execute tests in CI/CD pipelines to guarantee software quality and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of backend development experience with .NET (C#).
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL.
- Proficiency in designing relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Solid understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
- Understanding of git source control patterns
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated expertise in writing automated unit and integration tests using frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit, with a proven track record of achieving and maintaining 100% test coverage.
- Experience setting up and running integration tests against real or emulated Azure resources.
- Nice to have: Experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI) to speed up backend development code generation, test generation, ADF pipeline configuration, and test automation tasks.
