Job Description
To establish and implement the necessary controls to reduce technology and Cyber risk and provide assurance with regards to the adherence to minimum technology standards for Technology. To implement a sustainable technology risk assurance capability by executing, investigating, analyzing and reporting on a risk plan for technology and or related risks. This role is focused on managing corporate risks, ensuring compliance with corporate regulations and standards, minimizing risks associated with business activities and promoting a culture of safety within the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Law Degree
- Any compliance specialisation will be advantageous
Additional Information
Experience:
- 3-5 years' experience years of experience in the following: information security, risk management, regulatory compliance, or corporate governance.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and security trends, and how they affect security and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Risk and Compliance and business stakeholders, to ensure the integration of security and compliance initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Keep up with the latest trends in the sector and emerging threats to identify possible risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Build, develop and maintain relationships with the key internal and external stakeholders relevant to the IT Governance, Risk and Compliance area of specialization.
- Conduct health checks per weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly risk reviews list in line with the agreed IT Governance, Risk & Compliance framework, policies, procedures and service level agreements.
- Deliver holistically on all the regulatory and internal reporting requirements. Compile reports covering findings, conclusions, recommendations and to inform next steps. Prepare statistics, dashboards and information for both internal and external consumption as it relates to IT Governance, Risk and Compliance.
