What is Intern – Cybersecurity Compliance?

This internship opportunity is part of Jazz’s Cyber Security & Compliance team and is designed for individuals who are eager to gain real-world experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance practices. The intern will support ongoing regulatory, SOX, and internal audit activities under the mentorship of experienced professionals. The role reports directly to the Cyber Security Governance Team and provides exposure to multiple audit frameworks and real-time control assessments.

What does Intern – Cybersecurity Compliance do?

· Assist in compliance reviews and audit support activities (UHY, SOX, internal audits)

· Help maintain evidence repositories and track control effectiveness for ongoing testing

· Support the execution and follow-up of SOX MSA testing exercises

· Coordinate with various teams to gather data for risk assessments and access reviews

· Participate in preparing compliance dashboards and reports

· Document cybersecurity procedures and maintain control tracking sheets

· Contribute to policy alignment reviews (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, group policies)

Requirements

Educational Requirements

BS student or fresh graduate in Information Security, Information Technology, or related disciplines Coursework in cybersecurity, audit, or risk management is a plus

Skillset and Competencies

· Cybersecurity Governance: Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, SOX controls, and general risk management practices

· IT Audit: Basic understanding of IT audit methodologies, internal control frameworks, and compliance assessments

· Technical Cybersecurity Skills: Foundational knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, vulnerability assessment, and incident response principles

· Learning Agility and Attitude: A proactive mindset, strong analytical thinking, and a genuine interest in cybersecurity. Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, regulatory requirements, and work independently when needed
