Job Summary:

Information Security Analysts are the front line of POOLCORP’s Information Security program. They monitor alerts, interact with users and respond to incidents quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors information security alerts across a variety of platforms, deploying countermeasures, escalating issues, and resolving incidents as needed.

• Assists in the tuning and development of new alerts and countermeasures.

• Installs, upgrades, manages, and maintains software and hardware to support the Information Security function as needed.

• Researches information security vulnerabilities as they pertain to the POOLCORP environment and present findings.

• Works closely with peers as well as other departments and stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of the Information Security Program, minimizing disruption and protecting assets while enabling the business to succeed.

• Demonstrates continual learning and skill development in the field of Information Security

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or any combination of the following certifications: A+, Network+, Security+, Project+, CCNA, eJPT

• 3 or more years of professional or academic experience in the field of Information Security, Data Analysis,  PC Technician or Helpdesk roles is required.

• Experience with any combination of the below specific technologies desired:

• Desktop hardware & software troubleshooting

• TCP/IP networking

• Office 365

• Active Directory

• Microsoft Azure

• Microsoft Windows 7 & above

• Kali Linux (& associated tools)

• Scripting or other programming knowledge, such as: PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby or others.

• HTML / PHP / SQL

• Helpdesk ticketing platforms

• SEIM / SOAR products such as Swimlane, SPLUNK etc.

• Endpoint detection and response or antivirus platforms.
