Summary: The Senior Security Analyst is a member of the IT Information Security team which provides cybersecurity support from an in-office setting. The Senior Security Analyst serves in an elevated position within the Information Security team backed by their experience, institutional knowledge and relevant certifications. The Senior Security Analyst is expected to have a thorough knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and vendors with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical or 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Although this job has no supervisory responsibilities this team member will act as an escalation point, advisor and mentor for junior teammates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
- Strong communication skills, ability to work well with multiple personality types
- Providing professional and courteous assistance to our Teammates, with a genuine desire to understand and
- solve problems through to completion
- Advanced troubleshooting and investigation skills working with cybersecurity technologies
- Provide cybersecurity guidance to Security Analysts
- Identify root cause and trends, collaboration with escalation team on long0term fixes
- A curious and open approach to using, securing, and protecting Generative AI

Certificates and Licenses:
ISC2 CISSP, ISC2 SSCP, ISACA CISM, ISACA AAISM, CompTIA CySA+
Technical Expertise:
SIEM/Security Operations Center
EDR/endpoint protection
SEG/email security
Windows/MacOS
Asset management/monitoring
Identity protection (PAM, MFA, SSO)
GRC/Audits
SOAR Automation (Rapid7 preferred)
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with complex situation situations. Ability to work in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Ability to lead cybersecurity/technical projects to completion.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office
File storage (Box preferred)
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Communication Skills:
Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel in person and over the phone. Strong interpersonal and skills.
Attendance Expectations:
The position requires regular and predictable attendance at the Management Office. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; type on the computer and speak over the phone.
Environment Demands:
Duties are primarily performed at a desk in the office environment. Work involves continuous contact and interaction with management office personnel. Work includes movement around facilities.
Verbal and Writing Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to receive and communicate with management office personnel/vendors/teammates courteously, efficiently, and professionally. Employee must be able to display professional phone and email etiquette.
