Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional security strategies by collaborating with local stakeholders to develop and implement security strategies that align with the company's global security policies and procedures
  • Lead and manage change initiatives across the regions, ensuring that all security-related changes are properly assessed, planned, and implemented with minimal disruption to business operations
  • Develop and implement strategic security initiatives that support business growth, improve security posture, and enhance the overall security culture
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in security processes, technologies, and procedures, and develop plans to implement these changes
  • Drive the implementation of technology and automation solutions to enhance security operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. This includes identifying opportunities for technology-enabled solutions, developing business cases, and leading the implementation of new technologies and systems
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across the regions, ensuring that all risks are properly managed and reported to senior management
  • Lead and manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure that the team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality security services
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that all security-related expenses are properly controlled and managed
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of regional security operations, providing regular reports to senior management

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience to include leading a team 

     

Preferred qualifications:

  •  5+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing, diverse teams across multiple locations
  • Experience working in a global organization with multiple stakeholders and regions
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Change management: Demonstrated success in leading large-scale change initiatives and driving innovation
  • Experience in budget development and management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and report to senior management effectively
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP)
  • Experience with automation and technology-enabled solutions, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies
  • Experience with security technology and systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems
  • Risk management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating complex security risks across multiple regions
