What youâll be doing
The Senior Compliance Officer, Technology, is responsible for the oversight and execution of CEEPâs testing program related to technology controls. The role will focus on technology controls impacting regulatory requirements. The Senior Compliance Officer, Technology, will work with internal and external stakeholders to perform control testing to assess the design and operating effectiveness in support of CEEPâs opinion. As a member of the CEEP Examination team, youâll work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where your contributions will make a meaningful difference in our clientsâ lives and the organizationâs success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead IT-focused examinations, contribute to the organizationâs success, and grow as a leader in a challenging and rewarding environment.

How youâll succeed
- Lead Exams with IT scope: Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of IT-focused exams. Develop work programs and testing procedures aligned with identified risks and objectives. Coordinate walkthroughs to understand IT processes, systems, and controls.
- Ensure Exam Quality: Maintain high-quality standards for all exam engagements by adhering to CEEPâs examination methodology.
- Identify and Assess Risks: Evaluate IT risks in relation to regulatory compliance, control design, and operational effectiveness for key IT processes. Identify control deficiencies, assess the severity of findings, and review IT-dependent controls in business processes.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to communicate findings, provide actionable recommendations, and support the organizationâs risk management objectives. Collaboration with CEEP examination team
- Relationship Management: Serve as a primary liaison with IT management, and other internal teams. Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure timely remediation of deficiencies and improvements in controls.
- Lead and Mentor Teams: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Who you are
- You have a degree/diploma in ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂInformation Systems, Accounting or related fields. Current accreditations such as CISA, CISSP or others Âare required.
- Itâs an asset if you have a CPA, CIA (IIA) Â or equivalent certifications.
- You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information. You communicate detailed information in a meaningful way.
- You can demonstrate 7 â 10 years of experience in IT Audit, Risk or Compliance roles, including leadership responsibilities. You have a proven track record in managing IT audit programs in a complex organizational and regulatory environment.
- Youâre familiar with audit tools and GRC platforms (e.g., TM+, Archer, Canvas, etc).
