Job Description

OT Security Maintenance Specialist leads initiatives across OT systems by utilizing his/her extensive knowledge of OT systems and environments. He/she works with cybersecurity and operational personnel in Digital Engineering Department to create and implement mitigation strategies in order to effectively protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities within the OT landscape. He/she possess in-depth expertise in security technologies such as firewall logs, IDS, endpoint security solutions, access control systems, and other related security technologies within the OT environment. He/she also works alongside the cybersecurity team to conduct research and develop or deploy new capabilities and solutions.

Work Functions:

Discover and manage organization’s OT assets:

• Verify OT assets discovery process and asset inventory, commissioning and decommissioning
• Create a detailed diagram of OT assets and networks to ensure comprehensive visibility
• Collaborate with Digital Engineering teams to identify proper asset management solutions for deployment and implement security controls to mitigate associated risks
• Establish security validation processes on OT assets for compliance against established baselines
• Establish, review or update configuration baselines for inventoried assets to support OT
  Security program
• Ideally understanding cybersecurity standards: ISO27001 and IEC62443

Improve and maintain cybersecurity posture of OT systems:

• Define patching and control needs of the organization’s OT system and prioritize related activities
• Oversee implementation of controls or patches, ensuring minimal disruption within acceptable risk levels.
• Collaborate with operational and cybersecurity teams to plan and monitor regular maintenance of OT security infrastructure
• Perform OT security posture assessment
• Establish rules for authentication and identification across devices and users to achieve cybersecurity objectives within the OT environment
• Monitor the access and activities of third parties and vendors in the OT environment

Enhance IT-OT alignment and collaboration:

• Promote knowledge sharing in both the IT and OT Security teams
• Develop standardized vocabulary for IT and OT Security teams based on the identified standards and framework
• Articulate potential pain points and solutions in aligning IT and OT departments
• Manage cross-team strategic projects according to guidance from the senior leadership
• Work with the cybersecurity team to conduct research to develop or deploy new capabilities and solutions.

Kolding, Amsterdam, Hamburg, London, Stockholm and Katowice.

Qualifications

In this role, you'll be instrumental in maintaining a secure and resilient operational technology (OT) environment. Your responsibilities will include identifying and managing critical assets, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, and overseeing the administration and maintenance of security related configurations and tools in the network infrastructure.

You’ll take the lead in driving OT compliance and assurance efforts, aligning our practices with key cybersecurity standards such as ISO27001 and IEC62443. Through proactive risk assessments and mitigation strategies, you’ll help us stay ahead of emerging threats. Your expertise in vulnerability and patch management will be essential in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our systems.

Equally important is your role in fostering a culture of security awareness. You’ll contribute to OT security education initiatives, empowering teams with the knowledge and tools they need to uphold best practices across the organization.
