Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. The Opportunity

Ally is a leading organization dedicated to safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring the security of our information systems. Our Cyber Shared Services (CSS) Product Group plays a critical role in advancing our cybersecurity capabilities through innovative solutions in cyber detection engineering, cyber reporting intelligence, and cyber automation. 


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delivery Lead as a backfill to join our Cyber Shared Services (CSS) Product Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on cyber detection engineering, cyber reporting intelligence, and cyber automation. This role involves leading the delivery of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects that enhance our cyber defense capabilities.

The Work Itself

1. Project Leadership:

  • Lead the delivery of cybersecurity projects within the Cyber Shared Services Product Group.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope/intake, objectives, and deliverables. 

2. Cyber Detection Engineering:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced cyber detection systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and deploy detection algorithms and tools.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of detection capabilities through regular assessments and updates. 

3. Cyber Reporting Intelligence:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of cyber reporting and intelligence systems.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cyber threats, incidents, and trends.
  • Work with data analysts to derive actionable insights from cyber intelligence reports. 

4. Cyber Automation:

  • Drive the implementation of automation solutions to streamline cybersecurity processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation in threat detection, incident response, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to develop and deploy automated workflows. 

5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with key partners and vendors. 

6. Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with cybersecurity projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect organizational assets.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or, or equivalent years of work experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading projects from ideation through completion, with an understanding of the SDLC process. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience leading cybersecurity projects, with a focus on cyber detection engineering, cyber reporting intelligence, and cyber automation, highly preferred.
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and platforms, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and automation frameworks, preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Base Pay Range: $110000 - $180000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.  Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
