We are seeking a dedicated Security Analyst to join our team.  As cyber threats continue to evolve, the need for specialized roles in Security Operations has become increasingly critical. This role will be pivotal in managing and optimizing our security tooling, allowing our Incident Responders and Threat Hunters to focus more on critical security tasks and improving our overall security posture.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Increased Efficiency: Offload management of security tools, allowing security analysts to focus more on critical incident response efforts and strategic security initiatives.
  • Enhanced Security Posture: Maintain and optimize security tools to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning at peak efficiency.
  • Improved Incident Response: Implement and manage SOAR Automation playbooks to improve incident response times and effectiveness.
  • Streamlined Operations: Centralized management of security tools and policies to ensure consistent security practices across the organization.

 

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing security tools.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in working with Endpoint Detection (EDR) solutions, SIEM, Intrusion Detection Systems, E-Mail Security, Cloud Posture Security and Web Security tooling.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively with infrastructure and development teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Python scripting capability.
  • Identify remedial needs and address them through automation.
  • Enhance the team's ability to provide robust Incident Response (IR) efforts using SOAR Automation playbooks, such as IoA and IoC blocks and whitelisting.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 90,000 and 110,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
