We’re looking for a Technical SEO Specialist who wants to use their expertise to optimise our websites, drive growth, and make a real impact in a collaborative digital team.

Why join us

WorkNest is on an exciting growth journey, backed by continued investment and expansion across the UK and international markets. This role is all about improving the technical performance of our websites to maximise search visibility, user experience, and commercial impact.

As our Technical SEO Specialist, you’ll be part of a collaborative digital team focused on delivering organic growth and lead generation. Reporting to the Head of Digital, you’ll optimise our B2B websites for visibility, crawlability, and performance, working closely with developers, content marketers, and product teams to diagnose issues, implement best practices, and uncover new growth opportunities.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone data-driven and detail-oriented, with a passion for technical SEO and the curiosity to stay ahead of ever-changing algorithms and trends.

What We Offer

  • Salary: Up to ÂŁ35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Excellent benefits package
  • A supportive and inclusive work culture
  • Hybrid working - 2 days in our Chester office, 3 days from home
  • Mentorship and Rising Stars Programmes

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Technical SEO Specialist with at least 2 years’ experience in B2B digital marketing with a strong technical focus. You’ll have hands-on experience in technical SEO and a solid understanding of site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and structured data, along with proficiency in tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and GA4.

In this role, you’ll conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits, implement actionable recommendations, support website migrations and re-platforming projects, and optimise site speed and performance. You’ll work closely with our SEO agency, developers, and content teams to align technical and on-page strategies, and track and report on key SEO metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Experience working with CMS platforms like WordPress, HubSpot, or enterprise-level CMS is essential, and familiarity with Storyblok would be an advantage. You’ll need strong analytical skills, great attention to detail, and the confidence to work collaboratively across teams to achieve business objectives.
