About The Team

The Customer Management Systems team is part of the IT organisation, responsible for managing the portfolio of Business Systems that support Customer facing teams (Salesforce, Service Cloud, Marketo, Docusign etc.) deliver their job more effectively. We work closely with business stakeholders to plan, deliver and support functionality continuously through Agile and DevOps practices.

 

We are looking for a talented Salesforce Developer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur on permanent basis who can apply strong problem solving and analytical skills to deliver changes and projects for CRM and gain the opportunity to learn variety of systems (apart from Salesforce) such as Sales Cloud, ServiceCloud, Docusign, CPQ, LinkedIn Navigator and Marketing Tools.

 

About The Role

  • You are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex Salesforce solutions that align with business goals.
  • You will involve hands-on development, technical leadership, solution design, code quality review, and mentoring of junior developers.
  • in-depth Salesforce platform knowledge and experience across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and DevOps practices.
  • contributes to architectural decisions, contributes to best practices, and ensures scalability and efficiency.
  • in-depth understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Salesforce CPQ and how the platform is configured for the business.
  • You will live and breathe the Agile manifesto and will use processes, tools and culture to continuously improve what they do and how they work for the delight of the customer, adding value everyday will be a key goal.
  • You will participate in Solution Design process and run system demo to business stakeholders.

 

What You Will Be Doing

As part of the Salesforce Product Team, you will:

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions.
  • Design data models, integration strategies, and custom workflows that follow Salesforce best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party tools or AppExchange solutions as needed.
  • Develop custom functionality using Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools (e.g., Flow, Process Builder).
  • Build and maintain APIs for integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP, middleware platforms).
  • Create unit tests, ensure code coverage, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform peer code reviews and enforce coding standards.
  • Optimize performance of Salesforce code and queries.
  • Lead development tasks in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
  • Estimate effort, plan work breakdown, impact analysis and manage technical deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, solution architect and other developers to deliver solutions on time.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions and promote best practices.
  • Documents technical business requirements /problems into format that business can understand and works with the Product Owner in the development of Business Cases and Best Practice solutions.
  • Contribute to protecting the products from technical debt and process debt and designs the system architecture to adapt to future change.
  • Support troubleshooting and issue resolution in development and production environments.
  • Monitor and lead deployments, resolve merge conflicts, and ensure rollback strategies are in place.
  • Promote version control best practices and environment management across sandboxes, UAT, and production.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment cycles.

 

Minimum Qualification, Knowledge, and key Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–6+ years of Salesforce development experience is a MUST, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL.
  • Proven experience in Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as: Jenkins, Bitbucket/GitHub
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data and security models, metadata, and platform limits.
  • Strong understanding of the Sales Cloud functionality: Leads, Opportunity, Content, Forecasting, Products and Pricing.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs or middleware.
  • Agile/Scrum team experience is a plus.

Additional Skills

  • Certified as a Salesforce developer is a plus
  • Other scripting language, such as Python etc.
  • Experience with other platforms such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Microsoft Team
