Entrust is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to help ensure that our systems and processes are secured against the latest threats. You will be on a team responsible for conducting threat and vulnerability scanning, reporting, and DAST testing. This position works as part of a security team responsible for ensuring that the company's information resources are secure from unauthorized access, protected from inappropriate alteration, physically secure, and available to users in a timely fashion. This position demands an organized, action-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work and support on multiple initiatives simultaneously; strong communication and customer focus is required.
Responsibilities:
- Areas of responsibility include vulnerability management for the following types of technologies: infrastructure, host, cloud, container, application (dynamic application security testing).
- Work with entire CISO staff (e.g., Security Architecture, and the Governance Risk and Compliance teams) to evaluate security findings and rank remediation recommendations according to enterprise risk.
- Coordinate and lead Information Security Remediation Management efforts in collaboration with internal business partners. Responsibilities include identifying and analyzing security or compliance issues, defining remediation requirements, assigning ownership, evaluating and supporting remediation strategies, reviewing and approving key deliverables, and tracking progress through successful resolution.
- Identify opportunities for improving vulnerability management processes and internal tooling to enhance overall program effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with defensive and infrastructure teams
Basic
- 4 + years of experience with vulnerability management.
- Experience administrating the end-to-end vulnerability scanning and management processes.
- Good appreciation of other security roles such as threat intelligence, vulnerability and patch management, risk, auditing, awareness, and security architecture.
- Experience with operating platforms (i.e., UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft)
- Experience with evaluating/analyzing results from the vulnerability scanning tools such as to: Rapid7 Nexpose, DAST tools (WebInspect), Burp Suite Enterprise. Vulcan vulnerability management reporting tool or similar.
- Familiarity with security industry standards (PCI, ISO 27001, NIST 800 series, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Security, College Diploma in Computer Systems Security
- Intermediate knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages
- Command-line experience with Linux-based operating systems
- Excellent communication and written skills along with experience preparing reports for senior executives
- Certifications (e.g., CISM, CISA, CISSP, OSCP, GPEN, GWAPT) a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in business terms

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $133,602-$195,950 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
