Job Title:    Cyber Security Data and Reporting Analyst
Department:    Security and Privacy Operations
FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Overview:

The Cyber Security Data and Reporting Analyst will be involved in multiple aspects of supporting the security culture and training programs. Utilizing data from across the entire security and privacy teams to identify, track, and mitigate risk and monitor the effectiveness of cultural and educational interventions. The Global Security Awareness, Training and Culture team uses a data driven approach to changing and developing behaviour across the entire organization. This role will enable the analyst to combine multiple data analysis techniques alongside behavioural analysis to help the teams create informative and actionable reports. This position is a hands-on opportunity to build out the data analytics and reporting for the team and help to foster a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and effective positive learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain high-quality dashboards, KPIs and visualisations to evaluate training and culture project and program performance.

  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and visualisation tools such as PowerBi.

  • Extract, manipulate, and analyse data sets for actionable insights and strategic decision making.

  • Analyse and create reports from multiple data sets.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business and project needs.

  • Support team leads with data analysis and reporting to support and influence ongoing projects.

  • Visualize data in a way that non-technical stakeholders can understand easily.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree relevant to or experience with data analysis.

  • PowerBi experience.

  • Basic ability to query, modify, and extract data in SQL databases

  • Strong skills with Microsoft Excel – knowledge of Pivot Tables and V/X Lookups.

  • Strong skills with data management - cleaning and preparing raw data.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate ideas clearly and efficiently across technical and non-technical audiences, displays active listening skills, and communicates effectively and efficiently.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and develop innovative solutions to meet project expectations without compromising good design.

  • Must have strong ability to build trust and keep information secure and confidential.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in implementing best practice.

  • Experience with behavioural analysis.

  • Ability to summarise data clearly and concisely for a wide audience including senior leadership.

  • Experience collaborating with multiple teams with varying levels and types of technical expertise.

  • Confidence to challenge assumptions and solve problems in new ways.

  • Exposure to analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence.

  • Expertise in writing, presenting, discussing, and socializing data analytics and reporting.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements (if applicable):

  • Up to 10% Global travel possible.

  • NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from Insulet's London office at least three (3) days per week.
