Vice President of Technical Assurance Services
The Vice President of Technical Assurance Services is responsible for leading and driving the expansion and evolution of our cybersecurity assurance offerings. Technical Assurance Services encompass a range of security assurance and validation activities, including penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability assessments, security audits, threat intelligence validation, and resilience testing. This role is responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and continuous improvement of these services, ensuring our clients receive world-class security solutions. The VP will work closely with senior leadership, technical teams, and clients to drive innovation, compliance, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for technical assurance services, aligning with business objectives and market demands.
Service Development & Execution: Oversee the delivery of penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability assessments, security audits, threat intelligence validation, and other technical assurance services.
Innovation & Best Practices: Stay ahead of emerging threats, technologies, and industry standards to continuously evolve service offerings.
Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their security requirements are met with the highest level of professionalism and effectiveness.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure services align with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2.
Operational Excellence: Establish and refine processes, methodologies, and metrics to drive efficiency and quality in service delivery.
Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Collaboration & Partnership: Work closely with internal business units, partners, and clients to integrate assurance services into broader cybersecurity programs.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to technical assurance engagements.
Financial Oversight: Manage the regional and global TAS budget, strong understanding of commercials associated different services to ensure financial targets are met, costs are managed, resources are allocated effectively, and profitability is maintained.
What we are looking for in you
Experience: Significant experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in technical assurance services.
Leadership: Proven track record of leading and scaling technical teams in a multi-location environment whilst driving high growth.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of penetration testing, ethical hacking, red teaming, vulnerability assessments, risk management, and resilience testing.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CISM, CEH, CREST, or equivalent preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and threat landscapes.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into business impacts for senior stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to address complex security challenges.
