The National Security Sector (NSS) seeks a highly qualified and trained Senior-level Deputy Program Manager to support United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM). The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) will assist the Program Manager (PM) to provide program management support, including the management and oversight of all activities performed by Leidos personnel and subcontractors, to meet government requirements. This vital hybrid support to USCYBERCOM J3 (Operations), Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF), and Joint Task Force-Ares (JTF-ARES) underpins USCYBERCOM support to United States National Security objectives. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award!
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the PM in all aspects of program leadership, including engaging in direct program management that encompasses providing technical direction to address contract requirements and oversight of all personnel supporting contract.
- Assist the PM in managing the contracts scope, schedule, budget, and risks to ensure successful accomplishment of program goals, and managing the daily activities of the Program Management Office (PMO).
- Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly CDRL planning; lead daily PMO synchronization meetings to discuss schedule and deliverables; manage maintenance of program governance documents such as the PMP, QMP, processes and flow charts for hiring personnel and security processing; and manage communications plan to ensure the program leadership is synchronized and customer engagement is proactive and timely.
- Conduct regular meetings with the Workforce Development Program Manager and all Task Leads to identify potential issues as early and ensure mitigation plans are developed and follow through until issue resolution.
- Execute PM’s plans for performance planning and oversee regular check ins by all front line managers
- Maintain a program brief which can be used by corporate capture leads and business developers.
- Manage the PMO’s VIP visit plan of action.
- Maintain and review the risk register and change record.
What does Leidos need from me?
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph required.
- BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8 plus years of prior relevant experience or Masters’ degree with six plus years of prior relevant experience, to include 4 plus years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Five plus years’ demonstrated proficiency in Cyberspace Operations or related feeder specialty (Communications/IT, Intelligence, Joint Fires, Electronic Warfare, etc.).
- Ability to support timely, accurate, relevant analytical production, to include documents, summaries, issue papers, talking points, and briefings.
- Demonstrated proficiency working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, ability to proactively multi-task and meet short deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex and technical data to nontechnical consumers.
Favorable if you have:
- Deep understanding of USCYBERCOM organizational structure and mission.
- Prior experience supporting Joint operations across multiple warfighting domains.
- Formal training within field of Cyber Warfare and Joint Operations.
- Familiar with Microsoft Power BI data visualization software.
- Desired Certifications: CISSP or CISM.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
