Eligibility: Open to UK Citizens or individuals with Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) who have resided in the UK for the past 5 years (required for Security Clearance)

We are seeking a skilled Azure SecOps Engineer with a strong background in Security Operations to join our remote UK-based team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, with familiarity in DevOps practices, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and the broader Microsoft Defender toolset. Knowledge of AWS is a plus.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our cloud security posture, proactively managing daily operations within the Security Operations team with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational SecOps activities across cloud platforms (primarily Azure)
• Configure, monitor, and manage Defender for Cloud and other Microsoft Defender solutions
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security best practices
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents
• Contribute to continuous improvement of security monitoring, detection, and response capabilities
• (If applicable) Learn and apply LogicMonitor through on-the-job training

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Security Operations (SecOps) role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure security services
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and related security solutions
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:  Experience with AWS cloud security
