The IT Systems team is part of the IT Operations division. It is responsible for effective IT Tools management, Account management, Procurement, Documentation and knowledge sharing, vendor and third-party management, user support, and training. Our team is also involved in various projects around the company. Successfully working with multiple stakeholders, we achieved excellent results and are looking forward to expanding our competencies in different IT areas. 

Main Responsibilities

• Create services tailored to the needs of various internal teams at Nord Security, such as automated scripts, APIs, monitoring dashboards, and workflow management systems.
• Plan, design, and implement application infrastructure and business logic from the ground up.
• Develop, maintain, and integrate with a variety of third-party APIs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for internal tools, including user guides, technical specifications, and troubleshooting instructions.
• Collaborate with other teams to align internal tool development objectives with overall business objectives and priorities.
• Follow industry best practices and coding standards to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. This includes writing clean, maintainable code, reviewing code, implementing error-handling mechanisms, and adhering to security guidelines.
• Continuously seek opportunities to learn, innovate, streamline processes, and enhance the organization's capabilities through technology.

Core Requirements

• Strong understanding and proficiency in a high-level programming language, preferably Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs, including adherence to best practices for documentation, security, performance, and maintainability
• Familiarity with common software engineering patterns and practices
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), preferably AWS
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Proficiency in integrating and working with third-party APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyse complex problems, troubleshoot issues, and develop practical solution
• Initiative and ability to work independently
