We're seeking someone to join our Generative AI and New Technology team as a GenAI Security Lead in Technology Risk Governance and Controls to lead the design, coordination, and implementation of technology controls for Generative AI (Gen AI) and use cases.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Cyber Security Engineering position at Vice-President level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

What you’ll do in the role:

AI Technology Control Framework:

  • Ensure control alignment with regulatory requirements, AI governance, risk management, and compliance.

  • Oversee development of policies, standards, and procedures related to GenAI controls.

  • Provide expert understanding, develop and implement strategies for regulatory landscapes, threats, and risks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Enterprise architecture, engineering, security design, legal, and compliance teams to ensure comprehensive control measures.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Governance & Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, mitigate risks associated with AI technologies and their applications.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to AI technology controls.

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of AI control measures and address any compliance gaps.

  • Work with Governance Committees, Legal and Security Architecture to ensure Gen AI use cases meet firmwide governance gates.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of AI technology control professionals.

  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members in achieving their professional goals.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 6+ years of experience in technology risk, architecture, cyber threat intelligence, cybersecurity or AI governance, preferably within financial services.

  • Understand Gen AI technologies, LLM platforms, and associated risks.

  • Proven experience designing and implementing technology controls in complex, regulated environments.

  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and drive complex initiatives to successful completion.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
