What you'll do

• You'll develop and oversee OT cybersecurity strategies that align with industry standards like ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800-82 and ISO 27001, while driving the implementation of zero-trust architectures
• Through cyber risk assessments, you will pinpoint vulnerabilities and suggest effective mitigation strategies to bolster the security of industrial operations
• Working alongside cross-functional teams, the role involves designing secure industrial network architectures that ensure robust segmentation and secure communication protocols, as well as the integration of advanced security technologies
• You will define and enforce security standards for SCADA, ICS, and HMI systems while ensuring compliance through audits and secure data exchanges between MES, SCADA and ERP systems
• As a thought leader, the role involves evaluating and recommending cutting-edge cybersecurity tools, as well as representing the organisation in industry forums to help establish best practices for OT cybersecurity

Who you are

• Possessing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline will provide you with a robust foundation for this role
• You have a strong experience in OT cybersecurity, industrial automation or ICS security roles and have proven expertise in frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800-82 and the Purdue Model for ICS Security
• Certifications such as GIAC GICSP, CISSP and ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert are highly advantageous, while familiarity with cloud-based OT security solutions, such as AWS IoT and Azure Defender for IoT, is considered a valuable asset
• Proficiency in securing SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems has been demonstrated, and expertise in industrial networking and ICS protocols (e.g., PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and OPC UA), as well as OT security tools, has been exhibited
• Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and project management skills, as well as fluency in both spoken and written English, ensure clear and effective communication and additional language skills (e.g. German) are a valuable asset
