Job Description

We are seeking a senior, experienced leader to spearhead our efforts in AI compliance, governance, and security. As the Global Head of AI Compliance and Governance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, frameworks, and controls to ensure responsible, ethical, and compliant use of AI across IFS.

This is a highly strategic and cross-functional role, ideal for a professional with a strong background in IT security, regulatory compliance, and AI technologies

Key Responsibilities

• AI Governance Framework: Develop and own the AI governance framework aligned with global regulations
• Policy Development: Draft and roll out internal policies related to responsible AI, AI ethics, model governance, and explainability.
• Compliance & Legal Alignment: Work closely with Legal, Security, and Product teams to ensure AI solutions are fully compliant.
• Risk Assessments: Perform periodic AI risk assessments, including model bias reviews, privacy impact assessments, and security checks.
• Stakeholder Education: Serve as internal thought leader on AI compliance; provide education, guidance, and training to relevant teams.
• External Engagement: Liaise with regulators, auditors, and clients on matters of AI governance and compliance posture.
• Incident Response Support: Assist Security and Data Privacy teams in the case of an AI-related incident or breach.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT compliance, data privacy, or cybersecurity.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies, model lifecycle, and governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with global AI regulatory trends and data protection laws
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
• Strong communication, policy drafting, and advisory skills.
• Background in AI, machine learning, or data science preferred but not required.
• Strategic thinker comfortable operating with ambiguity and building from scratch.
