The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for a network engineer with a strong foundation in traditional networking concepts and hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based network solutions in AWS and Azure environments.

Your day-to-day

• Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable network architectures in AWS and Azure

• Maintain and troubleshoot traditional on-premises network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs

• Implement and manage hybrid cloud connectivity (e.g., VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute)

• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability

• Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies and compliance standards

• Automate network tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

• Provide support for incident response and root cause analysis related to network issues

• Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.

What you bring to the team

• Extensive experience in network engineering

• Proven hands-on experience with AWS and Azure networking services

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and other networking protocols

• Experience with cloud-native networking tools (e.g., AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Azure Virtual Network, NSGs)

• Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools

• Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments

• BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty or Azure Network Engineer Associate certification
