JOB TITLE:         Senior Security Network Engineer

LOCATION:        Lewisville, TX 

DUTIES: Report to the Director of Information Security and Compliance. Work on-site at Overhead Door’s Corporate HQ. Manage day-to-day operations of on-premise and cloud security. Administer all security systems and tools. Identify, investigate, and resolve security incidents. Assist in designing security systems and strategy. Participate in creating and maintaining policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures. Ensure detail and process-oriented work. Demonstrate problem-solving abilities. Implement and oversee cloud security solutions and architectural designs (Azure/AWS). Manage email/web filtering technologies. Conduct risk assessments and apply security principles/best practices. Perform vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and application testing. Apply emerging technologies to develop secure solutions across diverse network/communication protocols. Utilize frameworks such as NIST and CIS for security compliance. Architect, design, and implement large-scale WAN architectures with a focus on network security. Manage firewalls (Cisco FTD, FortiGate), IPS/IDS devices, routing, and switching. Implement and manage endpoint detection and response (EDR) and DLP technologies. Configure and audit VPN technologies, including site-to-site and remote access VPNs. Use firewall security orchestration and automation tools. Troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues. 

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer/Electronic Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, and 8 years of experience in the job offered or as a Network Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer, IT Security Analyst, Software Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include the following: 

• 8 years in Information Security Technology, including Building Security Architecture/Design for Infrastructure, Cloud, and Apps, Cloud Architecture, and Cloud Security Solutions;
• 4 years in Networking, including Routers and Switches, Internet Routing, Network Attack Vectors, Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Network Access Controls;
• 4 years in Firewalls (Fortinet or Cisco FTD Firewalls), including Configuration, Policy Management, Auditing, and Monitoring; and 
• 2 years with Azure and AWS Cloud Architecture and Security; Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs; and Endpoint Protection (EDR) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Technologies.
