How will you make an impact in this role?

This position will be part of a Network Security Engineering team supporting Business and Technology Cloud initiatives by developing automated solutions. The Information Security Analyst is responsible for the technical design and deployment of a diverse set of cloud and on-prem technologies.

This individual will be required to operate efficiently within a highly skilled and agile engineering team. Candidates that are highly motivated, skilled, can learn quickly with minimal oversight and constantly challenge themselves will greatly benefit on our team. Information Security Analyst will also be expected to assist with reviewing existing tools, applications and processes to help strengthen and optimize current capabilities, as well as identify any gaps or technical solutions to further enhance the team's effectiveness. Additionally, the successful candidate will support leadership, business and technology teams with technical recommendations, documentation and reporting. Extensive experience with Python, Bash, Go, Terraform HCL, YAML, JSON, Github Actions/Workflows. Working knowledge of firewalls, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS. Understanding and hands on experience of cloud principles and technologies (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).


Required Qualifications

  • Experience (+4 years) knowledge and understanding of developing for public cloud infrastructure using Python, Terraform, Github Actions/Workflows and other CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience (+2 years) knowledge and understanding of various network firewall solutions, such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, AWS Security Groups, GCP Firewalls, in an enterprise environment
  • Contributes to the design, build and maintenance of modern onprem and public cloud platforms that support agile teams
  • Provide reliable, predictable deployment and maintenance of distributed systems adhering to security standard methodologies
  • Participating in Agile Sprints and associated ceremonies

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with the following development languages: Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, YAML, JSON
  • Fundamental understanding of Github, Github Actions and Workflows
  • AWS and GCP experience preferred.
  • Secrets management understanding, including Github Secret, Hashicorp Secrets, AWS and GCP native equivalents
  • General understanding of threat protection methodology (IPS/IDS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of WAN technologies and protocols, including standard methodologies, designs, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with highly available and redundant networks.
  • Clear understanding of Client / Server applications.
  • Proven problem solver with ability to provide in-depth analysis of complex problems, manage risk, and make quick decisions.
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work in a technically challenging environment.
  • Excellent presentation/verbal communication skills and the ability to train and mentor other team members.
  • Experience in relationship management and collaboration skills with external vendor partners, technology colleagues, and business partners.
  • Kubernetes and Docker experience

Minimum Qualifications

 

Annual Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
