About the Job:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Cybersecurity Scrum Master to guide and support Agile delivery teams within our Identity and Access Management (IAM) portfolio. This role is responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring alignment between technical execution and strategic cybersecurity objectives. The ideal candidate will bring deep Agile expertise, strong leadership, and a cybersecurity mindset to help drive secure, high-quality delivery across multiple scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Scrum Master for one cybersecurity-focused Agile team supporting internal AT&T Enterprise IAM tools and technologies.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine user stories aligned with IAM strategic goals.

• Identify and remove impediments to team progress, both internal and external.

• Coach team members on Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Ensure delivery integrity by balancing Agile process adherence with business priorities.

• Support cross-team coordination, dependency management, and risk mitigation.

• Guide the team through PI planning and ensure alignment with enterprise cybersecurity initiatives.

• Exercise discretion and judgment in adapting workflows during emergency deployments or high-priority escalations 

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery in complex, regulated environments.

• Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.

• Experience working with technical teams on both front-end and back-end development.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make thoughtful decisions under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.

• 2 years in a cybersecurity or IAM environment.

• CISSP or other cybersecurity certifications.

• Familiarity with IAM platforms, security compliance, and secure SDLC practices.

• High level knowledge of technologies such as Javascript (React/Angular) , Java 11,21, Spring/Spring Boot, Python, SQL, RESTful API's, Testing Frameworks (JUnits), LDAP, Shell Scripting

Our Lead Cybersecurity, earns between $128,400-$192,600 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
