Job Description:

Position Summary

Crowe is seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Cyber Intelligence Manager to lead our cyber threat intelligence operations and help clients proactively manage digital risk. This individual will oversee all-source intelligence analysis, threat forecasting, team leadership, and strategic project execution. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in intelligence gathering, threat modeling, geopolitical analysis, and communication of emerging cyber risks to executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Intelligence Leadership

  • Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of cyber intelligence products, including collection, analysis, dissemination, and post-mortem review.
  • Oversee the production of timely and actionable intelligence reports to inform clients and internal leadership on emerging threats, adversary tactics, and geopolitical risks.
  • Lead threat hunting initiatives and support threat detection enhancements in collaboration with incident response, SOC, and red team units.

Team and Project Management

  • Manage a team of analysts, guiding their professional development and aligning responsibilities to individual strengths.
  • Coordinate agile project teams to support strategic cybersecurity initiatives across industry sectors.
  • Implement intelligence-driven risk mitigation strategies and ensure deliverables are high-quality, timely, and client-centric.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and support for evolving threat landscapes and technologies.
  • Optimize intelligence platforms and internal knowledge management systems

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders including internal leadership, global partners, client CISOs, law enforcement agencies, and ISAC/ISAO networks.
  • Lead threat briefings and intelligence presentations to clients and internal teams.
  • Support cyber fusion center activities by integrating intelligence into operational decision-making.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Preferred certifications include: GCTI, GREM, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent intelligence tradecraft credentials.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in cyber intelligence, all-source intelligence, or security operations roles; prior military, government, or intelligence community experience is highly valued.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex intelligence-driven initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of geopolitical risk, APT tactics and techniques (MITRE ATT&CK framework), and threat intelligence platforms (TIPs).

Skills

  • Expertise in all-source analysis, OSINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, and technical threat intelligence.
  • Advanced knowledge of Snort/Suricata, STIX/TAXII, and IDS rule writing.
  • Proficient in using platforms like Anomali, Recorded Future, MISP, ThreatConnect, and commercial TIPs.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Agile project management proficiency and strong problem-solving abilities.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $109,400.00 - $218,100.00 per year.
