ASSYST is looking for experienced Security Developers/Architects to support secure systems design, testing, and deployment of GPO’s security tools and controls under RMF and Zero Trust frameworks.

This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Location: Remote with periodic on-site meetings in Washington, DC
Clearance: Public Trust (or ability to obtain)


Responsibilities:
Lead development of TRM artifacts, security documentation, SOPs
Conduct security engineering and hardening of systems (Windows/Linux)
Design and implement technical controls aligned with RMF and NIST standards
Contribute to A&A package development and POA&M remediation

Qualifications:
4+ years of IT security engineering or architecture experience
Familiarity with NIST 800-53, RMF, and FedRAMP
Hands-on experience with Tenable, Trellix, Defender, Varonis, Red Hat, Azure
