Job Description & Summary

About the Job

A career within Cybersecurity and Privacy services at PwC offers the opportunity to help clients design and build secure cloud environments that drive innovation, enhance resilience, and deliver business value. As more organizations adopt cloud-native technologies, the need for robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures is more important than ever.

We are expanding our cybersecurity team in the Baltics and are looking for a technically skilled and motivated Cloud Security Specialist to join us. This role focuses on the hands-on design and delivery of cloud security solutions that safeguard cloud workloads, enforce best practices, and support secure digital transformation.

As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will design, implement, and operate security controls within complex cloud environments. You will work directly with clients to build and enhance secure architectures, support secure cloud adoption, and help define best practices in cloud-native security. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about cloud technology and cybersecurity and want to work on impactful local and international projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-native security controls and architectures in Azure or AWS environments.

  • Support configuration of secure cloud services including IAM, network security, logging/monitoring, data protection, and workload security.

  • Participate in hands-on cloud security engineering, such as policy enforcement using tools like Azure Policy, AWS Config, Security Hub, or cloud-native firewalls.

  • Collaborate with client DevOps and infrastructure teams to embed security in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Assist in the development and documentation of cloud security reference architectures, blueprints, and operational runbooks.

  • Troubleshoot and support ongoing cloud security operations including incident response, vulnerability management, and hardening.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cybersecurity roles, with a strong focus on Azure and/or AWS.

  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing cloud-native security controls and tools.

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure components such as virtual networks, identity management, key management services, and logging pipelines.

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation) and DevSecOps practices is an advantage.

  • Understanding of cloud-native threat models and security architecture principles.

  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Azure Cybersecurity Architect, or equivalent are preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; fluent English required.

Why PwC?

  • Join a team shaping the next generation of cloud security services in the Baltics.

  • Contribute to high-impact local and regional cloud transformation projects.

  • Leverage leading tools, methodologies, and global best practices through the extensive PwC network.

  • Benefit from flexible work arrangements  and continuous professional development opportunities.

  • Be part of a purpose-driven team dedicated to helping clients build trust in an increasingly cloud-first world.
