Job Description

Are you ready to start defining possible with Northrop Grumman? If so, we are is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst (level 2) based out of Guam.

You will develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. You will study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor’s access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Will be team-oriented, collaboratively working with others in a professional and high-energy environment, and will adapt to constantly changing demands, demonstrating the capability to take on new and unfamiliar tasks. Will be responsible for all aspects of program security with special emphasis on Personnel Security, Indoctrinations, Debriefings, and coordination with leadership. Assigned Responsibilities can include (but not limited to):

  • Applies government regulations relevant to the protection of classified information and equipment.
  • Prepares Standard Operating Procedures for handling, storing, and protecting classified information and assets.
  • Maintains classified container program by conducting safe inspections, scheduling safe maintenance, to include issuing and changing combinations.
  • Assists the Top Secret Control Officer with program management and inventory.
  • Facilitates personnel access to the site via applicable databases.
  • Coordinates with government agencies for badges and facility access to restricted areas.
  • Conducts courier training and prepares classified packages for transport.
  • Coordinates with off-site locations to verify and catalogues receipt of transported records and assets.
  • Conducts security education classes, audits, briefings, and debriefings.
  • Prepares equipment approval memorandums for Customer signature.
  • Assists with COMSEC account management.
  • Coordinates alarm custodian training, maintains alarm equipment, system testing and issue PIN codes.
  • Investigates security violations and prepares reports for submission to the Customer.
  • Assists with Cyber Security functions to include virus scanning media.

This position will be a long-term expatriate opportunity with paid travel to location. This position will include HOLA, COLA and other incentives for working this assignment overseas.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelors Degree with 2 years experience OR 6 years experience with a High School diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Experience in applying DoD SAP Manuals to daily operations.
  • Knowledge of SAPF/SCIF construction standards (ICD 705, UL 2050, etc.)
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days- a-week, and 365 days a year
  • A valid U.S. passport.
  • Able to accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements.
  • Ability to meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.


Experience will include:

  • Fixed Facility Checklists.
  • COMSEC (equipment and key inventory management).
  • Personnel Security (Adjudicative guidelines, DISS, SF86, Adverse reporting).
  • GSA Safe Management.
  • Access Control/Alarms/Area Protection.
  • Classified document marking, protection, storage, transmittal, and destruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience drafting, maintaining, and interpreting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Security Plans, and Concept of Operations documents.
  • Skilled in providing security-relevant training and briefings.
  • Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet iterative deadlines.

Salary Range: $67,200.00 - $100,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
