Responsibilities:

Network Operations (60%)

  • Provide operational support for network infrastructure in Korea, while also participating in global network operations as required
  • Collaborate with global infrastructure and network teams to ensure consistent standards and best practices across regions
  • Proactively monitor network performance and availability; analyze logs and metrics for local and global environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and service interruptions
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks, updates, and patches on network devices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, diagrams, and configurations
  • Support network-related portions of local and global infrastructure projects
  • Assist in implementing and enforcing network policies and security standards in collaboration with global teams
  • Coordinate lifecycle management of network hardware and inventory
  • Prepare and deliver reports on network health, highlighting trends both locally and globally

Cyber Security Operations (40%)

  • Act as key on-site contact in Cyber Security Incident Response
  • Collaborate with global security teams for threat detection, analysis, and proactive threat hunting
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, escalating as appropriate, and working with global incident response teams
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts in partnership with global security teams
  • Responsible on site’s Operational Technology (OT) Manufacturing System security
  • Maintain and operate security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, MFA, and DLP systems
  • Support the implementation of security patches across network and server infrastructure
  • Assist in security audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments for both Korea and global operations
  • Document and improve security operational procedures and runbooks
  • Contribute to Security Awareness training efforts in Korea and collaborate on global initiatives
  • Participate in the development and enhancement of security policies in coordination with global security policy groups
  • Stay informed on emerging threats and share recommendations for enhancing security posture locally and globally

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of combined experience in network operations, network security, or cyber security roles
  • Solid technical expertise in enterprise networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, wireless)
  • Practical experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Familiarity with security monitoring platforms (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS)
  • Experience in incident response and security analysis
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management processes
  • Understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance
  • Experience working in or supporting cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google) from a network and security perspective
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, comfortable collaborating in an international environment
  • Proficiency in both Korean and English communication is preferred for effective global collaboration
  • Experience in a manufacturing facility a plus, but not required

Additional/Preferred Skills/Certifications

  • Extensive experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting platforms and technologies including but not limited to the following:
    • Layer2/3: Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki Switch
    • Firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortigate
    • Network Management: Solarwinds
    • Wireless: Meraki, FortiAPs
    • Network segmentation and Zero Trust principles
    • Security incident response processes and playbooks
    • Log analysis and forensic investigation
    • Cloud security architecture and controls
    • Network monitoring and analysis tools: Wireshark, Solarwinds

  • Experience working in multinational organizations with global IT/security collaboration
  • Technical writing for management, operations, and audits
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Language Proficiency in both Korean and English
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • Network: CCNP, CCNA, PCNSA
    • Security: CISSP, SSCP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, GIAC certifications
  • Familiarity with OT, ICS, PLC, HMI, IPC is added advantages Monitor security events and alerts from security platforms in both local and global contexts
