DevOps & Cybersecurity Consultant (Azure) – Mexico City

The Company:

A Mexican technology company specializing in the pharmaceutical sector. They develop digital solutions, including a CRM regulated by COFEPRIS, focused on reporting and tracking adverse drug events. Their product is used by various pharmaceutical laboratories across Mexico and Latin America.

They are currently undergoing a digital transformation which includes:

• Refactoring their architecture into microservices built with .NET on Azure
• Preparing for ISO/IEC 27001 certification, focusing on personal data protection and cybersecurity

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development and architecture teams to migrate monolithic applications to microservices in Azure
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Advise on best practices for cloud security, databases, and server configurations
• Support the implementation of controls and tools required for ISO/IEC 27001 compliance
• Participate in hybrid coordination sessions (on-site and remote) with the client
• Monitor, automate, and implement observability and resilience best practices across infrastructure

Requirements:

• Based in Mexico City 
• Proven experience in DevOps on Azure 
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with microservices architecture (.NET is a plus)
• Strong background in cybersecurity, especially in data protection and regulatory compliance (ideally ISO 27001)
• Familiarity with hardening practices, secure configuration of databases, networks, and cloud servers
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in cross-functional teams
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthtech industries
• Knowledge of regulations such as COFEPRIS
• Certifications in Azure, DevOps, or Information Security/ISO
