About the role
Our Consulting team is seeking a skilled Intermediate to Senior Penetration Tester to join our security consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in penetration testing, including web application, wireless, API and internal testing.

You may also be involved in various security projects outside of penetration testing, including but not limited to PCI, DSS, SOC 2, ISAE 3402, Certificate & Accreditation and maturity assessments.

You must have proven Penetration Testing skills to be considered for this role with 2-3 years’ experience required.


What you’ll be doing:

·       Conducting penetration tests for web applications, APIs, wireless networks, and internal network environments

·       Perform vulnerability assessments and provide details reports

·       Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and offer tailored solutions

·       Participate in maturity assessments and other security related projects

·       Stay current with emerging threats, tools, and technologies in the cybersecurity field

·       Pen test upskilling with the latest advancements in the field of penetration testing

·       Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff members

 

What we’re looking for:

·       2-3 years’ experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments

·       Relevant penetration testing certifications such as OSCP, Comptia Pentest+, CEH, CPT, GPEN, PJPT and eJPT

·       An understanding of security frameworks (PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISAE 3402, NIST etc)

·       A relevant tertiary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information security

·       Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
