About the Role:
As a Finance Manager for EMEA and APAC, you'll be a pivotal financial business partner, advising regional General Managers and sales teams on deal structuring and financial optimization. You'll oversee all financial operations in the region, including managing bookkeeping and controllers, ensuring accurate and timely monthly closes, and maintaining strict compliance with US GAAP and company policies. This role also involves managing regional tax compliance, identifying revenue recognition issues in contracts, and collaborating with FP&A on business trend analysis. You'll be responsible for setting and achieving collection targets and acting as the regional problem solver for various supporting functions, all while contributing to continuous process improvements and efficiency projects.
Responsibilities
- Business finance partner – provide on-going assistance and advise regional General Managers on financial aspects.
- Deal support -support sales team on how to structure the deal in a compliant and most beneficial way and help maximize results. Work closely with Deal desk on financial aspects.
- Manage the group supporting the region- bookkeeping and controllers (both internal and external bookkeeping firms).
- Manage all financial operations in the region and make sure monthly close is performed accurately and in accordance with deadlines.
- Review deals from financial and other perspectives- compliance with US GAAP including ASC 606 and other business-related standards, compliance with booking policy, commission policy, legal policies, procurement policies etc.
- Manage all tax compliance for the region- transfer pricing implementation, tax returns, PE, sales tax and other reporting and initiate tax efficiencies.
- Review of contracts for identifying Rev rec issues and find solutions.
- Analysis of main business trends and work in cooperation with FP&A on regional aspects including regional analysis and budget vs. actual.
- In charge of setting collection targets and act with the team to meet those targets including cooperation with sales teams.
- On-going discussions with sales operation to structure processes and controls for the region.
- Other accounting projects to implement better controls or create efficiencies.
- Communication with other departments to be the regional Problem Solver for other supporting functions( procurement, legal etc).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and business admiration.
- Highest Proficiency in all Microsoft Office.
- Big 4 tech section alumni.
- NetSuite – an important advantage.
- At least 2 years in a managerial position - Must.
- .Analytical, agile, self-learner, brilliant.
- 4-5 years’ experience working in software company (preferably hyper growth companies).
