At Hitachi Energy, we’re looking for a visionary leader to head our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) cybersecurity strategy. How you’ll make an impact

• Lead the strategic direction of five core CCOE programs, including Governance and Cybersecurity
• Design and implement robust cybersecurity strategies for development and production cloud environments
• Collaborate with R&D to embed security into the software development lifecycle
• Partner with infrastructure teams to secure SaaS platforms and manage incident response
• Align cloud security policies with global standards and internal frameworks
• Drive adoption of best practices like NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
• Represent cybersecurity in executive-level discussions and strategic planning
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through KPIs and metrics
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred
• 6+ years of leadership experience in cybersecurity or cloud security roles
• Proven success managing cross-functional teams in complex environments
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps practices
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and regulatory standards
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Security) highly desirable
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
