*This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.* 

Responsibilities:

Serves as USCENTCOM CCJ3-Joint Security Office (JSO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) on matters related to threat and intelligence capabilities. Action Officer (AO) to CCJ3-JSO providing full spectrum support to Branch operations, activities and requirements in the operationalizing of intelligence. Reviews daily intelligence reporting and coordinates with elements of the CCJ2 to provide a concise intelligence update to the CCJ3-JSO Director, with an emphasis on the potential impact(s) to operations being conducted in the USCENTCOM AOR. Reviews CCJ2 threat warnings, advisories, or highlight messages, and gives input to the CCJ2 on Force Protection recommendations as it relates to the threat. Facilitates weekly USCENTCOM Threat Working Group (TWG) meeting, to include booking conference rooms, coordinating JWICs VTC requirements, printing/displaying slides, and taking notes during discussions. Produces and disseminates a Weekly USCENTCOM Executive Summary following the TWG meeting in order to inform the USCENTCOM, Component Commanders, Joint Task Force Commanders, Senior Defense Officials/Defense Attaché Offices and their staffs of the TWG threat analysis and Force Protection recommendations resulting from the meeting. Collaborates with USCENTCOM CCJ2, the Intelligence Community, and Forward Elements for threats and mitigation of threat(s) in order to produce Force Protection Snapshots. Periodically answers Requests for Information (RFI) from Component Commands, Joint Task Forces, USCENTCOM Directorates, CCJ3-JSO branches, and other commands.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (not degree specific).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an All-Source Analyst at the Service/Component, or COCOM level.
  • Experience at briefing at the Service, Component Command or COCOM level.
  • Familiar with various Intelligence Community research tools and data bases (e.g. M3, HOT-R, Palantir, Analyst Notebook and Intelink).
  • Recent Joint or Service Level All-Source experience.

Desired Requirements:

  • COCOM-level experience.
  • Experience in USCENTCOM AOR.
  • SharePoint knowledge.
  • Antiterrorism Level II Trained.

Clearance:

  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
