We're looking for a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer (SE) to join our team and help drive success by presenting our security solutions to prospective customers. As an SE, you’ll be the technical expert our sales team relies on, leading portal demos, gathering customer requirements, and acting as a vital link between sales and operations. Your input will shape service development and improvements, ensuring we remain agile and responsive to customer needs.
What You’ll Do
Pre-Sales Engineering & Technical Consultation
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and tailor cybersecurity solutions to their needs.
- Conduct technical presentations, portal demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for prospective clients.
- Provide technical expertise in cybersecurity products, managed security services, and compliance frameworks.
- Design and propose security architectures that align with customer environments and risk profiles.
- Develop and deliver responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security assessments, including changes to SOWs and change orders.
Solution Development & Customer Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through security best practices and industry trends.
- Assess customer security posture and recommend tailored solutions to enhance resilience.
- Work closely with internal teams (SOC, DevOps, onboarding, costing) to customize offerings as needed.
- Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear business value propositions for executives and technical stakeholders.
Sales Enablement & Market Intelligence
- Assist in developing sales tools, presentations, and technical collateral to support go-to-market strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and evolving security technologies.
- Train sales teams on technical aspects of our cybersecurity solutions.
- Participate in webinars, and networking events to showcase our expertise.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity sales engineering, pre-sales, or solutions architect role.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions such as SIEM, SOC, XDR, MDR, EDR, firewall management, and threat intelligence.
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.).
- Ability to explain complex security solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience conducting product demonstrations, PoCs, and responding to technical inquiries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade, through verbal and written communications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent.
- Experience working with MSSPs, cybersecurity vendors, or security consulting firms.
- Knowledge of cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Hands-on experience with security tools like Google, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, etc.
