We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives. 

 

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed,  

Headquarters Support Division (HSD) Mission Partner (MP) Lead/Systems Engineer, SME. This position is in support of the EMITS 2 USAREUR-AF Mission Partner the Headquarters Support Division (HSD), located in Wiesbaden, Germany.  This position is located OCONUS. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Single point of contact for USAREUR-AF G6 Headquarters Support Division (HSD) requirements, responsible and accountable for contractual and technical performance, including the management, direction, administration, quality assurance, supervision of ongoing technical efforts, and leadership of the engineering and service delivery of the multiple complex intelligence engineering solutions 

  • Collaborates with the Mission Modernization and Innovation Team (M2IT) to tailor EMITS 2 standardized processes and procedures to meet HSD requirements, including support for transition-in 

  • Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, implement, test, or evaluate systems; prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other documentation  

  • Applies systems engineering expertise to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management  

  • Analyzes, designs, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements; assesses systems engineering and architecture models using modeling methodologies to conduct technical assessments and make recommendations that inform key technical decisions 

  • Performs systems engineering analyses and uses the results along with other engineering models to draw conclusions and optimize performance, schedule, timing, or costs  

  • Analyzes system requirements, designs, analysis, and verification and validation activities enabled by Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) across the digital thread and the engineering lifecycle 

  • Provides analysis to support reviews, including Systems Requirements Review (SRR) and Systems Functional Review (SFR), and performs engineering functions in support of experimentation, integration, and operations  

  • Provides engineering expertise for migration and transition of systems, including transition from on-premises solutions to cloud-based solutions, technical solutions to complex problems, and troubleshooting to resolve incidents and problems 

  • Plans, coordinates, and facilitates the post-deployment SW sustainment and post-production SW sustainment requirements, management, and execution  

  • Supports the installation and integration of new technologies and upgrades into various environments, including improving performance and reliability for C4 network and systems that are evolving and undergoing modernization 

  • Develops and authors policies, procedures, guidelines, and TTPs and reviews and provides input to all governance documents as required, including baseline change requests 

  • May attend and participate in meetings to discuss new technologies, technology insertion projects, and modernization roadmaps 

  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments 

  • Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives 

  • Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge 

  • Supervises a team of 6 to 15 personnel Serve as the single point of contact for USAREUR-AF G6 Policies, Plans, and Projects (PP&P) requirements, overseeing contractual and technical performance. 

 

Qualifications: 

Required:  

  • Have an adjudicated TS clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI 

  • BS/BA +13 years’ experience 

  • Certification - CISSO or GCIA or GCSA or GCLD or GICSP or CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP  

  • Demonstrates mastery of systems engineering principles and practices, preferably with experience in Government IT environments.  

  • Possesses expert-level technical experience related to complex intelligence engineering solutions, with ability to analyze systems requirements and designs and provide guidance for installation, integration, and sustainment activities, drawing on a wide range of knowledge related to cloud solutions, systems migration, network modernization, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).  

  • Exhibits strategic expertise in managing large-scale technical projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and aligning engineering efforts with organizational objectives.  

  • Demonstrates proficiency in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and technical documentation for high-security environments.  

  • Excels at stakeholder management, including collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.  

  • Preferred background includes leadership experience and familiarity with military operations and requirements. 

  • TESA eligible 

Desired:  

  • Experience in supporting USAREUR-AF G6 Mission Partners 

  • Experience managing complex IT and communication system projects. 

  • Desired Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) - INCOSE
