Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Associate Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and IT Security projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven project management experience, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT infrastructure.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the end-to-end management of IT and IT Security projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Security, DevOps, and Compliance to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR), and best practices.
- Support the implementation of security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IAM, DLP, endpoint protection).
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers as needed.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 2 years focused on IT Security projects
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Asana).
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and vulnerability assessment tools.
